
ABOUT ME
LV attended school in Aurora, Colorado and spent summers with family across Texas, the South, Connecticut and Europe, developing a visceral appreciation for cultures and community. Her references are vast, and her curiosity never ending. Lisa chose to attend Howard University in Washington, D.C.. and studied psychology under professors at the forefront of Black mental wellness, and studied political science, and the healing of political trauma, in South Africa, at Stellenbosch University, the birthplace of apartheid. Upon graduation, LV began her career at the United Nations Foundation, working with the Girl Up campaign, building a global movement for gender equality. Since then Lisa has built her resume in programs, and marketing/communications working across industries (we’re talking tech, financial services, fortune 500 companies, sports teams, and universities) and honing her skills and expertise.
At her core, Lisa is a writer, a storyteller, strategist, and a builder of ideas, people, and businesses. LV is an award winning advocate recognized by the White House, Princeton University, and Teen Vogue.
